About Alan Cochrum

Alan Cochrum is an editor and writer, formerly for newspapers and now elsewhere, in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

He has edited and written editorials and opinion columns and done book reviews — several hundred of the last, in fact, on the work of authors including Salman Rushdie, Chaim Potok, Philip Yancey, Pete Hamill, Susan Fromberg Schaeffer, Naguib Mahfouz, Richard Preston and R.C. Sproul.

He is currently doing graduate studies in English and teaching freshman composition at the University of Texas at Arlington, his alma mater.
